Electronic Visual Savings Card
The Visual Saving Card will replace our existing 2 stamp machine. Stamps will no longer be available for purchase once this new system is in place.
The reason for this new service is for member security and it is important to us under anti money laundering law. We care required under law to know who the beneficiary of the savings is and this will allow us to do that.
Visual Savings Cards (VSC) are an additional form of saving offered by Synergy Credit Union to its members. They are a useful mechanism to save for a particular purpose (i.e. utility bills, TV licence, Christmas, Holidays etc.).
The member is provided with a Visual Savings Card (VSC) at no cost from our offices in Fermoy or Watergrasshill. For members convenience and privacy, we have the kiosk located away from the counter area.
Saving is easy with the new card (VSC), you can lodge a minimum of 1 on the card and the Kiosk will accept notes and coins and the balance of your savings can then be easily read on the card.
To redeem funds from the card: Insert your VSC at the kiosk, press 'redeem' you will need to enter your PIN & follow the instructions. The Kiosk will issue a receipt which is redeemed at the counter by the teller.
Only the Named holder of a Visual Savings Card can redeem the funds on a card, Withdrawal instructions do NOT extend to the Visual Savings Card.
